Teaching with KING: materials for the FP30 experiment
MPIA organizes and runs two experiments in the Advanced Lab course for Physics in collaboration with the Physikalisches Institut of the University of Heidelberg. Typically the lab supervision and examinations are done by phd-level teaching assistents. Our experiments offer to undergrad students a first hands-on contact to experimental astronomy and astrophysics, and are often an initial spark to longer interest in the field.
